The popular low trauma calving strap.
This nylon calving strap has an advantage over chains or ropes for assisted delivery of calves in that stress is spread over a larger area of the soft tissue and bones reducing the likelihood of injury.
Two metal loops are sewn-in with a double thickness of strapping and may be used to attach a calf puller for harder deliveries.
The hand loop allows correct and sufficient pressure for easier deliveries.
Best to use two straps during calving, one for each calf leg. Straps can be easily cleaned and disinfected.
The strap is 2_cm wide webbing and is 80cm long overall.
