The Sterimatic can help reduce the chance of this type of injury to you, your family and staff. The Sterimatic also helps to prevent the spread of disease and reduces the chance of abscessing for your livestock caused by non-sterile vaccination.

During mass vaccination of livestock where needles are re-used, several problems may occur:
• Disease transmission between animals
• Abscess and infection from bacterial contamination
• Needle stick injuries to you!
To reduce these risks the Stermatic System has been developed.
The Stericap is a unique, precision moulded, airtight container enclosing a plug of foam. This foam carries a liquid disinfecting agent.
As the needle passes through the Stericap, it is swabbed clean by the foam and coated with disinfectant that destroys bacterial and viral pathogens.
The Stericap has been tested extensively in both laboratory and field conditions where it has proved very effective against both bacterial and viral contaminants.
Tests show no effect on some live vaccines, this is because the Stericap cleans the outside of the needle and the injectable 'flushing action' cleaned the inside.
Do not use where disinfectants are contra-indicated.
The Stericap system has been used around the world by Government departments, major pharmaceutical companies, veterinary practices and major livestock operations for over 20 years.
Stericap contains 2.5% Gluteraldehyde & 5% Bardac22.
Multi Dose System A safer, cleaner, economical way to inject livestock.

Three different sleeves are available for different injection depths
Clear sleeve for ½ inch (12.5mm) injection. Use a 1 inch needle with this sleeve.
Green sleeve for 1 inch (24mm) injection Use a 1½ inch needle with this sleeve.
Blue sleeve for a 1½ inch (37mm injection Use a 3 inch needle with this sleeve.
Syringes and needles can be cleaned and re-used.
The Sterimatic pack will safely and cleanly deliver 500 doses.
The Sterimatic pack includes:
• Sterimatic Sleeve (choose your size)
• 5 Stericaps (each Stericap can be used for up to 100 deliveries or within 3 days of opening)
• 5 Hypodermic needles
Sterimatic systems are suited to a wide variety of injectors. Instrument Supplies, Simcrotech, Phillips, Primatech etc. Adaptors are required for Phillips metal injectors.

The Phillips instrument holster is designed for the easy carrying of your Phillips vaccinators and drenchers while you tend the livestock.
The holster comes in two parts, the smaller section for vaccinators 1ml to 10ml that require tip protection.
The larger part is for 10ml to 50ml drenchers.
The two parts are easily combined to accommodate a large range of instruments.
Open slots are provided in both parts to accommodate your custom belt arrangement and leg tie.
A nylon belt is supplied.
