This model is fitted with the new and better 2020 aluminium tensioning mechanism, with an angled plastic head piece and a round, stainless steel tube.
The tube is in two parts, 180cm long and is designed not to slip, and is easily pulled apart and cleaned.
The new and better 2020 mechanism has three hooks instead of two. Also features an easy handling quick release, which can be removed without any difficulty even under the highest load.
The compression cushion, slightly v-shaped head, helps open the birth canal, while the centre ball keeps the instrument from sliding sideways.
Complete with ropes and ready to use.

Here is our economy calf puller, made in the same style as our famous HK brand pullers. All galvanised or nickel-plated steel.
This puller features a 1.6m long threaded shaft, which breaks in half for easy transport.
Traction assembly with 35cm long handle, for easy use and choice of sequential or tandem pulling points. The head frame is steel, but with well rounded edges to prevent injury, and also incorporating a rump chain to better retain the puller head on the cow. The puller is supplied complete with ropes. This device is reasonable quality at a very good price.

Nylon Calving Stp ~ Low Trauma - Pair

Our very popular nylon low trauma calving strap

This nylon calving strap has an advantage over chains or ropes for assisted delivery of calves in that stress is spread over a larger area of the soft tissue and bones reducing the likelihood of injury.
Two metal loops are sewn-in with a double thickness of strapping and may be used to attach a calf puller for harder deliveries.
The hand loop allows correct and sufficient pressure for easier deliveries.
Best to use two straps during calving, one for each calf leg.
Straps can be easily cleaned and disinfected.
The strap is 2½cm wide webbing and is 80cm long overall.

Aqua-lube is AI safe.
Water based and slow drying for more effective use.
It also has anti bacterial properties which inhibit growth of bacteria during storage, but do not damage proteins or sperm.
Active ingredient is 1.35g/l quaternary ammonium compound.
Available in 2.5 litre and 5 litre.

Vet Rope

Vet-Rope is soft and safe. Made out of 24mm diameter marine-grade polyester, it flatterns out when wrapped around a limb.
Vet-Rope will not cut, chafe or rot. It gets better with every wash in cold water.
The 2.5 meter rope has an eye splice at one end, while the 5 and 9 meter ropes have an eye splice at both ends.
Available in White only.
