Introducing the new PR20 portable RFID tag reader from Thunderbird.
Suitable for reading NLIS ear tags and bolus, made robust for agricultural conditions.
The PR20 has a digital display that shows - files number, ear tag number, and all of the menu functions.
The sealed keypad allows the operator to select - manual or automatic scanning, file number, erasing, scrolling, baud rate,
searching etc.
The PR20 has a RS 232 computer port for robust data transfer, a buzzer to notify tags have been read, an on/off switch and an LED light recessed into the base. The new PR20 electronic tag reader stores the IDs in its memory that can be downloaded to a computer at a later time. The PR20 can also be directly connected to scale indicators transferring the ID data to be stored by the scale indicator.
The PR20 is supplied with downloading software, a 240 volt mains adaptor for recharging the internal battery, a 12 volt  external power lead ( if internal battery has not been charged ).
3,250 ear tags can be stored in the memory of the PR20 reader, tags can be scanned automatically or manually by pressing a key.

A robust stick reader 60cm in length, capable of reading both NLIS and Lightweight sheep EID tag, with a memory for 3199 animals.
Download software allows for extraction of data to an Allflex provided reporting package or into an excel format.
The Yellow Stick Reader has an inbuilt display and internal batteries.
Your data is stored in reader until you download to the computer.
Alternatively, the reader can be fitted with a different end cap to allow data to be retrieved using Bluetooth technology(optional).

A handy little scanner to read livestock NLIS I.D. tags.

This simple palm reader is designed to scan Full Duplex, Half Duplex tags on cattle, sheep, goats etc, and microchips in pets.
It features a digital display of the electronic identification number.
Once recorded this number can be an invaluable tool for livestock management.
Easy to use, and fits snug in your hand, or in your pocket.
As NLIS tags are compulsory for cattle, this product allows farmers to utilise the tags efficiently and economically.
This small NLIS tag reader will allow farmers with smaller herds to read their tags without great cost, and farmers with large herds to quickly read a tag without having to get the big reader out of its box.
Runs off a standard 9v alkaline battery which is supplied.
Reads quality NLIS tags at approximately 30cm.
Overall length is 15cm.
