Calf Dehorner Restraint

3334
!
Debudding and dehorning of stronger calves can be a difficult exercise. This positive restraint solves the problem.
The calf's head is manoeuvred into the restraint, and then the chain is secured down over the calf's crown.
The restraint design ensures easy access to the calf's horns.
When the job is done, release the chain and the calf is on its way.
The dehorning restraint will fit standard over timber rails to 45mm (1 3/4 inch) width, or with slight adjustment to the rail, 55mm (2 1/8 inch) width.
Here is a tip, mount this restraint on the back of your 4 wheel bike, and along with our Vulkan or Portasol Butane debudder, or your Buddex re-chargeable debudder, and you have a real mobile debudding operation!

Super~Scoop Dehorner

1044
!
From Rob Newcombe ... Agripac Brahmans
Our operation runs 2000 stud ad commercial breeders and an extensive backgrounding of purchased cattle. At branding time one of our most important operations is dehorning. We have tried most of the dehorning products on the market with limited success. We have used the Supa~Scoops for the past two years and The Knife for the last three seasons, and combined we find them to be the best two dehorning instruments on the market. They both allow us to take a good ring of hair around the horn bud without going too deep and without changing the shape of the calf's head. I would recommend both these products to anyone who takes pride in the presentation of their cattle.
The unique square headed design facilitates neat removal of horn bud and ring of surrounding hair without penetrating too deeply, as round headed scoops tend to do.
Please note: this is a quality tool, the original.
Overall length 45cm
Blades open to 60mm
Note:
We do not sell the lesser quality imported scoops!
