A fully stainless steel grade 304 body. This delivers a valve unmatched in the market, able to withstand the most corrosive of applications.
Designed for continuous, reliable, steady flow, there are NO restrictions within the body.
This prevents any build-up of debris and provides secutiry of flow rates.One thing that is not readily understood is how our valve lets the water into the trough.
In situations where the valve is installed UNDER the water level the water splays out of the valve like a fan.
The effect of this is that although the water is entering the trough at great volume it does not stir up the silt.
The water effectively flows AROUND the outside of the trough allowing stock clean water.
Most valves discharge vertically and stir up all the silt and scum from the bottom of the trough.
Ours valve allows stock to always access clean fresh water without disturbing all of the scum.
This may not be all that important to us but I am sure the stock appreciate it!

In cases where the valves are installed above the water we have optional the stainless steel deflectors.
These deflect the water down into the trough and are specifically for coffin troughs and the like.
The valves can operate without covers if needed. They are so strong stock really can’t bother them.

Cocky valves are truly FULL FLOW at either high or low pressure.
Whatever water you can get to the trough will flow through the Cocky valve unrestricted.
Even up to the 2” valve at any pressure up to 150psi and above and any flow rate.
The valves will take higher pressures if required and may simply require the next sized float.
Whatever can flow down the line will flow through our valves and that’s all sizes.
The way the valve is designed allows absolutely full flow be it in a fan shape.

The Cocky Valve company manufacture their own range of ball floats specifically to suit the Cocky Valve product range.
Each float is clearly marked with its size 6” (150mm), 8” (200mm), 10” (250mm) and the largest in our range the 12” (300mm).
All Cocky floats come in safety orange for easy checking even from a distance.
The floats all have brass inserts with standard M10 threads. The Cocky Valve company regard their floats as the toughest and most reliable float on the market and they come with a full replacement warranty if used under normal operating conditions.

These float kits come in two lengths 300mm and 600mm. 
One metre lengths of chain are also available as an option.
The float kits come with a variety of nipples allowing our customers to fit virtually any type of float chain combination.
The kits come with the following nipples:

5/16” BSW, 3/8” BSW, ½” BSW and Metric M10.

Please note all Cocky Floats have a Metric M10 Brass bush inserted into the float during manufacture.
If using a standard Cocky float then a standard M10 nipple should be used.

These guards are attached to the valve body by heavy duty stainless steel hose clamps and deflect the water down into the trough. They can be retrofitted to existing valves without having to remove the valve body. Made from 316 grade stainless steel they will last a lifetime.
Available to suit all valve sizes.

Cocky Valve make a range of stainless steel adapters allowing our customers to fit virtually any combination of arm and float. 
Adapters come in the following sizes:
1. 10mm internal to 5/16” BSW external.
2. 10mm internal to 3/8” BSW external.
3. 10mm internal to 1/2” BSW external.
4. 5/16” BSW internal to 10mm external
Please note all Cocky Floats have a Metric M10 (10mm) Brass bush inserted into the float during manufacture. If using a standard Cocky float arm there will be no need for an adapter.

The cocky valve is the only valve on the market in Australia to develop a method of combating excessive mineral build up in high calcite water.
The cocky valve provides our customers with the option to fit a push rod made from Vesconite.
These pushrods are self lubricating and resist the build up of minerals.
We have had exceptional results with these pushrods and recommend them in any installation where high mineral content is present in the water.
