Glutacide - Disinfectant

A Powerfull, All-Purpose surface cleaner and disinfectant for use in all animal and bird housing situations.

Both active ingredients of KEYMIX® GLUTACIDE™ combine to provide strong biocidal activity against micro-organisms. Glutaraldehyde is chemically related to formaldehyde with a similar antiseptic and disinfectant efficiency, but greater safety than formaldehyde. Quaternary ammonium compounds have well-established disinfectant qualities, plus excellent detergent, surface spread and penetration characteristics.
The combination of the two actives in GLUTACIDE creates a product with a broad kill spectrum and a beneficial residual action against bacteria (including spores), fungi, viruses, protozoa and yeasts. GLUTACIDE is effective against a wide range of common contaminant organisms that are harboured in animal environment and housing. The control of those organisms reduces the hazard of disease and creates a clean, odour free environment. GLUTACIDE has a rapid action and remains active for several days on treated surfaces. All animal and bird housing systems may be safety and effectively cleaned and disinfected using GLUTACIDE. The product is not formulated or intended for use directly on animals or birds, however, but is suitable for all animal contact areas.

The Virus responsible for equine influenza in Australia (influenza A type H3N8) is relatively easy to deactivate when it's not protected by surrounding dirt or organic matter, however on-farm applications are typically much more challenging than this, making glueacide an ideal choice for protecting your animals

Weed Burner

For the organic gardener, or if you just don't like using chemicals. Light with the instant Piezo ignition, and sweep slowly along about 5cm (2 inches) above the weeds. The plant only needs to be heated, not burned. The heating causes the cells walls to burst and the plant dies. (To check this is achieved, pressing a leaf between fingertips should leave a dark green finger print). Leaves should fall after 2-3 days. Some hardier weeds will need repeated treatments through the growing season. The weed Burner can also be used with a larger or remote gas bottle, with the optional 3m long extension hose accessory. Using the 0.3kg refillable hand-held propane bottle (as pictured) will give about 1 hour of continuous burn.
