The pitch is adjustable by removing the plastic cover and turning the screw inside.
A locking nut is used to keep the pitch from shifting. this whistle can be heard by dogs up to 400m depending on the wind direction and the dog.
The plastic cover protects the metal whistle when in the pocket.
Not as good quallity as the Acme whistle, but good value for money.

A locking screw secures it at your chosen frequency. This whistle was invented and pioneered by ACME in 1935, and now comes complete with a leaflet "How to train your dog".
