The Injector gives the user the ability to perform one handed subcutaneous injections. The patented double over hinge system at the heart of Sekurus ensures operator safety while eliminating undue pressure on the animal to activate. The design of the Sekurus has several additional benefits: The protective needle guard ensures that self injection risk is kept to an absolute minimum even when not in use.
The Sekurus will not allow administration to begin until the needle is at full extension, meaning correct depth for every treatment. Needle breakage is much reduced, maintaining a high level of food chain integrity. One handed operation is much less invasive for the animal, reducing stress and discomfort and reducing operator risk. The needle guard makes needle changover a much safer and faster task, reducing the risk of self injection.
